When I saw pictures this morning of the destruction that was caused by tornados I was devestated for those people in the southern states. I am grateful that the areas my husband’s family live were not affected. My sister-in-law wrote about the tornado warnings in her area.
Now I have just heard about the Volcano eruption in Ecuador. This is scary for me because my brother is there serving a mission right now. I sent him an email to make sure he’s ok.

Sariah who is not even two yet loves to pretend to write. She will make lines and tiny squiggles and tell me what they say. She will also hand us pens and ask us to write words and she will even point to words in a book and ask what the word is. A few different coloured ink pens and piece of paper and she’s the happiest little girl in the world. It will be exciting when she learns her letters and writes real words!

I guess most people have now accepted that John McCain will be the Republican nominee so why are Romney and Huckabee still in the race? In my opinion Romney is rallying for the conservative movement and Huckabee dislikes Romney so much that he doesn’t want Romney to take all the conservative votes. I saw Romney give his speech last night and his wife looks like she is ready to give up on campaigning.
My husband predicted these election results a few days ago:
- Hillary Clinton will win the democratic nomination.
- Some no name person will run as an independant in the general election, talk conservative to steal some republican votes.
- Clinton will win the presidency.
- She will then appoint her husband, Bill Clinton to represent the US in the UN.
- Bill Clinton will eventually become the Secretary General of the UN.
We will see what happens!
