My husband received his second pay cheque and our moving reimbursement so we now actually have more money in our checking account than what is required to pay our rent. After we got the money we went to Costco to buy some groceries. Costco is my new favourite store - we bought a lot of food and it was only $30! Now we need to get started on paying our credit card and student loan debts. $9,000 all together so it is not terribly high, I am not worried about it at all. We still have until June before interest is added to the student loan.

Several days ago I told my husband that I believed that Mitt Romney could beat Hilary Clinton but not Obama, I also think McCain could beat Hilary (but Romney would be more likely to) and Obama would beat McCain. My husband disagreed, he thinks the US is doomed to electing Clinton as president. Well Saturday we were watching Fox News and a fox analyst said the exact same thing I did. It is all just opinion but it’s nice to see that someone who some consider experts said the same thing as me.
We all know that none of the candidates are going to do half of what they say they will do, well Hilary does seem very crazy about her universal health plan so that may pass. I like strong leaders who are values oriented, which is why I voted for Stephen Harper in the last Canadian election. With that being said I would choose Obama over McCain.
I disagree with Obama’s view on the war but I’m OK with his health care plan which is similar to what Romney created in Massachusetts. I think he has more morals than McCain and his wife have.
- McCain was involved with the Keating Five Scandal
- McCain cheated on his first wife and left her after she was crippled from a car accident and then married someone 18 years younger than him.
- McCains wife stole pain-killers from a charity she ran.
