Fitting Into My New Town

The first day that I had a chance to walk around the town in Sequim, WA I found the people very friendly. I had business offer me maps and local magazines to help me get accustomed to the area. I also had a few invites to join one of their many wine of the month clubs, I don’t drink so I politely declined. I however have found my place in the community with other stay at home moms. Many people think of Sequim as a retirement place but there really is a lot for young families to do. After my husband starts getting some pay cheques I would like to check out their Rec Center, I hope they have ice skating, I haven’t been ice skating in so long.

What a great idea to get business maps and magazines. I’ll have to remember to do that too!
