One of the great things about moving to Washington is that we now live less than 3 hours away from Vancouver, BC where I grew up so now we can see my family more often.

Over the last 3 years we have been to some of my favourite places such as Science World, Stanley Park and the Vancouver Aquarium, which is by far the best aquarium I have ever been to. Even though I lived in the Vancouver area for over 14 years it is still sometimes hard to think of some neat places to take my family. I decided to use the net for some ideas on what to do during our next visit and I found a wonderful Vancouver City Guide that left me wondering why didn’t I think of taking my family there? Some sights and attractions on my list of things to do in Vancouver are go to Granville Island and Whistler someday when we can afford to ski or maybe we could enjoy a sleigh ride in Blackcomb. If we are still around this area in July we will have to go to the HSBC’s Celebration of Light, it’s not a great even to take small children but I know my husband would love it.

This website also helped me fulfuil my Dad’s request for me to find some Cheap Hotels in Sequim, Washington for my parents and sisters to stay at when they come visit us.
