Donate A Boat For Charity

Today I learned about a charitable organization called Boat Angel that is asking for boat donations. They will pick up used boats (whether or not they run) for free and use the money from the sales (that they sell in auctions) to give to a charity. They have a long list of approved charities they support that you can find on boatangel.org and those donating boats can also request a charity they would like the proceeds to go to. Please visit Boat Angel’s youtube site to see the videos they make for children and teens with some of the donations they recieve.

I think this is a great idea for those who want to get rid of old boats but not have to deal with the hassel of selling it.

I’ll remember that when we buy a boat, then want to get rid of it. lol.
