Dalai Lama Recieves Honorary Doctorate From German University

The University of Münster recently presented the Dalai Lama with an honorary doctorates. They used cisco digital media broadcast the Dalai Lama’s acceptance speech across campus to allow an extensive audience to view the speech including politicians and other digitaries.

However China was not happy with the German chancellor meeting with the Dalai Lama. China’s Premier Wen Jiabao says that China and Germany can remain friends as long as the Chancellor admits making a mistake in meeting with the Dalai Lama. China believes that the Dalai Lama intends to seperate Tibet from China.

Germany refuses to apologize, the chancellor says that she can meet with whoever she wants.
