Government Projects Not Being Maintained

Several years ago the US assisted Iraq in helping them with their power supply repair and built a new power plant with the hope of helping them rebuild their country. Two years ago the US transferred their responsibility of maintaining the plant to Iraq. Many of the Iraqi contractors are not fulfilling the terms they agreed to and the plant is not being well maintained.

This is however also a problem here in the US as many projects that have been paid for with government grants won are not meeting their objective goals with some projects even being cancelled or given to other organizations to complete.
