First Black Friday Experience

I experienced shopping on Black Friday for the first time yesterday besides the trip to the dollar tree last year to buy a pregnancy test which was when we officially found out that we were expecting Rebekah.

The Vacuum cleaner I wanted were all gone before I figured out where they were. The $25 microwaves and the scrapbooking cutter machines also went quickly. 

We bought a printer for ourselves, wedding gifts for my brother-in-law and his finace as well as several Christmas gifts.

Sorry the vacuum was all gone. I hate black friday shopping but for some reason decided to go this year anyway. The popular things go so quick!

What time did you get started? I heard that some stores were open at 5 am! We didn’t leave the house until noon.

Welcome to Black Friday. It’s a love/hate shopping experience. Love the great deals, hate the fight for them.
Stores here have gotten even worse than opening at 5 am- they have started opening at midnight, and one even opened at 9pm on Thanksgiving day itself. I’m afraid we are soon going to see Thanksgiving dinner get lost in the shopping frenzy.

We got to Walmart a little before 5 am! I saw some people leave the store with 3 of those vacuums each!
