post Category: Family, Holidays post postNovember 23, 2007

My husband has had this whole week off school for thanksgiving which has been great because he is now ahead in all of his classes which means he will have less stress when he has his finals. He graduates With a bachelors in Biology and a minor in Business 3 weeks from today which we are both very excited about.

He still worked in the schools math lab this week and his boss also invited us to have thanksgiving dinner at his home. Sariah had lots of fun playing with his kids, while his youngest child was Sariah’s age she seemed to enjoy playing with his school aged kids more.

Thanksgiving day we watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade and ate a big breakfast with pancakes, eggs and hashbrowns that my husband made.

It was a great day to reflect on all of our blessings!

I love Thanksgiving. It is one of my favorite holidays (the other being St Patrick’s Day and Fourth of July). It’s a great idea for a holiday, humbling and family oriented.
I’m glad you had a good Thanksgiving. I bet it was good for Sariah to play with so many kids. Does she get that often? And what a great breakfast! I hope your next holidays, and your Thanksgiving next year, is just as pleasant for you and your family.

Sariah doesn’t get to play with other children as much as she would like to so it will be so nice for her when Rebekah is old enough to play with her.
