Could Stephen Harper Gain A Majority Government?

Most Canadians think so and I sure do hope so! According to a canada.com article 58% of Canadians who think that a majority government would be the best outcome of the next election say that it should be lead by Stephen Harper. 79% of Albertan’s think this would be the best outcome.

 I personally think that Stephen Harper is one of the best things that has happened to Canada. He’s not afraid to stand up for what he believes in like defending Israel and criticizing Kyto even-though they were unpopular things to do. He has done a lot to strengthen Canada’s relationship with the US yet he was not afraid to voice is opposition to Bush’s new passport law. President Bush has been quoted as saying that he likes Harper’s straightforwardness and his willingness to express his views. Stephen Harper also helped but an end to British Columbia’s softwood lumber dispute with the US, something the Liberal government had not been able to do for 7 years.
