I am just so proud of Sariah, she is starting to go potty when she has to go and not just from me sitting her on the potty. I think that is so good for an 18 month old. For the last 2 days she has had more accidents than successes but I’m sure she’ll get better about that soon. She hates wearing diapers now so I am a little worried about when we leave the house.

That’s great! My Toddler is 3 and still not potty trained :)

That’s fantastic. I’ve heard that girls potty train quicker than boys for some reason. Will she wear those pull-ups? My daughter didn’t like them and neither did I, so we didn’t use them too much. Just make sure you know where the nearest potty is when you’re out and about! :-D

People who have both girls tell me that their girls were easier to potty train. It is kind of a difficult time to potty train since she’s not at that stage yet where she can stay dry for more than 2 hours.

My daughter was about the same age when she started using the potty. I know what you mean, it can be difficult to be out of the house. It does get easier though, just continue to be excited for her when she uses the potty and especially if she uses it when you’re out. Maybe even ask her when you first walk into a place if she needs to go so she knows there is a potty if she needs to use it.

Thanks for the advice! How old was your daughter when she was fully potty trained?

That great- for both of you! Your unconditional love and your encouragement will do a lot to help her get more successes.

I always put a T-shirt and some shorts in my bag. I roll them up and put them in the side pocket of my diaper bag. I also always try to keep diapers and extra clothes in the car.

JOn JOn was 3 1/2 when he finally potty trained. He is finally doing great. It took a few months to get good at it. It is harder for boys.

Maybe Aron will learn quicker since he will see his big brother going.
