2in1toddlerkitchen.jpgI took Child Development classes in college and it has been something that I continually enjoy learning about and applying the things I learn with my own children. Playing for a child is fun but it is also one of the best ways for them to enhance a variety of skills.

PolkaDotToys.com have a lot of great toys to help your children’s development. You can involve your children in a lot of great science activities with sand and water tables one activity that was a hit with the children at the preschool I taught at was burying real vegetables in some dirt and having them dig the vegetables up. Most kids also love  walking stilts and they are wonderful for enhancing their gross motor skills. I am thinking of getting my daughter some puzzlesfor Christmas, they are a great for enhancing fine motor skills and there are some many different puzzles that help children learn different subjects such as shapes and geography.

I think my daughter would mostly like a kitchen set. She has played with other children’s kitchen sets and just loved them. I love wood toys like the kitchen set I have pictured. They are built strong and have a nice traditional look.
