I now have 15 lbs left to loose before I am at my pre-pregnancy weight. I am not on a diet or anything but I am trying to be more active like taking the girls on walks. Rebekah hates being in the stroller so I end up carrying her in the sling most of the time, I wonder if you burn more calories pushing a stroller and carrying a baby in a sling at the same time?

Horaayy..there are 4 comment(s) for me so far ;)
I would think that carrying a baby would burn more calories than pushing a stroller. A stroller is on wheels, and provides almost no resistance, so the benefit is the walking, not pushing. But on the other hand, carrying a baby adds extra weight to your body, like carrying dumbbells. But then again, most babies in slings don’t provide resistance either.
Lol, I can’t figure this one out at all, so I’m going to ask a friend of mine which one burns more calories. If I get an answer, I’ll be back to post the results.

I’m proud of you! Losing weight is one thing, but doing it naturally without dieting is fantastic. Good for you! Keep up the good work, and the fun. You will be happier and healthier, and your daughters will appreciate the time spent with them.

I would say the carrying would burn more.

Obviously carrying the baby would exert more energy than pushing the stroller.(think back to your middle/high school science days)
