I loved having the midwives for my prenatal care and delivery but the billing for their office is awful! After the third time talking the billing manager my husband asked her to sign the form showing everything that we had paid off which showed that we still owed $360 and then a few weeks later we get a bill saying that we owe $2,200! We went back to the office and the person in charge of the billing seemed determine to prove that the bill was correct and half an hour later finally figures out that we are correct. If think if this happens again we should bring a tape recorder.

I had something similar happen to me. The insurance screwed up my information. I finally got it worked out. Are you on state insurance or private?
