A Quarter Of A Century Old

It was my birthday two days ago and what made it special was that I got to spend it with my twin sister.  The last time we had spent our birthday together was 4 years ago. My sister got me some clothes and my husband got me some flowers.

I do feel old, though. I am 25 now! Before I had kids people would always think that I was younger. On my 23rd birthday when I was actually pregnant but not showing I went to the county fair and as I was entering an avon contest and the lady at the booth said that I needed to be at least 18 to enter. I think I would rather have that than people who now guess that I’m 26.

Happy belated birthday!!! People are always saying I look younger than I am, like 17-18, and don’t believe when I tell them I’m married with 2 kids.

I was at a restaurant with my inlaws and the waitress carded me when I ordered some wine. I know people keep telling me when I’m older I will appreciate it, but its annoying while it still happens and they think I’m under 18.
