Middle to late summer is a popular time for Barbeques, however with potato salads being left out on the table too long or meat being undercooked many people end up with food poisoning.
According to the United States Department Of Agriculture Food Safety And Inspection Service, food such as meat, eggs and dairy products should be kept at temperatures of less than 40 degrees F (4 C) or higher than 140 degrees F (60 C). Foods that have been between the recommended temperatures should not be consumed after 2 hours.
