Some sources say that at 37 weeks the baby is full term and others say that 38 weeks is full term. I asked my midwife about this and she said it doesn’t matter, the baby is fully developed at 37 weeks but a baby at 40 weeks is more likely to fight off infections easier and be healthier than a baby born earlier. Between now and birth the baby is mostly just gaining fat and getting ready for that first breath. The average baby will put on about half an ounce each day.
I did have some very painful contractions last night but I knew they were just braxton-hicks because the contraction was either only felt on my belly or on my back, it did not go all the way around from my back to tummy and they were not regular like real contractions are.
When I was 37 weeks pregnant with Sariah I wanted her out! Every morning I would wake up hoping this was the day I would go into labour, however she was born 2 days after her due date. This time I am hoping the baby stays in for at least another 2 weeks. I am moving into a new apartment on July 6th and I want to have everything moved in and organized before the baby is born.

I can’t believe how time has gone by. It is much better to have the baby on time.
Moving right before having a baby! Wow! That is tough. But better before you have the baby than after. I moved when Aron was 2 months old. That was a nightmare! I didn’t leave the apartment for a month because I was too tired! My back is still having problems which is why I am awake at 1 AM

[...] and what she said made my hair stand on end. She’s due with her second baby in 20 days, and she’s moving on July 6th. She’s determined to have everything organized before the baby gets here! Good [...]
She’ll probably come early
Good luck!
