Facebook For Politicians

Politicians are turning to blogging, podcasting, radio and TV shows to share their ideas and boost their popularity with the public. Now Canadian Prime Minister and Conservative Party Leader Steven Harper has a profile on facebook where he posts his thoughts and allows others to comment.

As of now Prime Minister Harper has 2,977 face book supporters. I am one of them! I honestly believe that Harper is what Canada needs. He’s an economist, knows whats going on in the world and takes a stand. Past Prime Ministers Paul Martin and Jean Cretchien both seemed very neutral and unaware of what was happening in the world.
