Eat Your Fruits and Veggies

Food and health organizations all over the world encourage us to get at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day. It often seems that fresh fruits and vegetables are expensive but really one pound of apples is often cheaper than a pound of candy. Look around for sales and buy in season. With summer coming we will soon see a decrease in the cost of yummy fruits such as peaches, melons and berries!

Lets not forget about the farmers that help bring these foods to us. Here is a neat little video honouring Florida farmers - I love florida oranges!
