Baby Name Poll

We have less than 3 months left until our new baby girl is due and my husband and I looked up hundreds of Hebrew names and agreed on six girls names that we both like and now we are asking for your vote on which one you like best!

Our last name is Lee and we are thinking of either Elisabeth for a middle name or a Mongolian name such as Tuya. Our other daughter’s name is Sariah Ruth Lee.

“Rebekah Elisabeth Lee” sounds nifty to me!!

    q: “Hi what’s your name?”
    a: “I’m Rebekah Lee”.

It sounds better than the rest in my opinion.

    Hope that helps! ^-^

I voted for Elise although I really like Abigail and Rebekah too. oh and if you want a nice variation of Elisabeth .. Isabella/Isobel .. etc is really cute.

    Interesting poll!

Have you by any chance read the chapter in Freakonomics on baby names? It’s really very insightful although a bit freaky too.

Have a look at the Freakonomics blog too.

Loved the Poll–could you please add an “n” to Analise–it’s just really hard to vote for a name that begins with the word “Anal”. But – hey- maybe I’m just being “Anal” about it!! Ha Ha Ha–couldn’t resist it!! I voted for the biblical Rebekah!~

    Analise!
It’s the name I have loved for a while if I were to have daughter daughter. I would have spelled it Annalise, but that’s only because of all the Anna’s in my family.

One Great thing about having this poll is that other people have noticed things that we haven’t! Thanks Robyn, I wouldn’t want our daughter to be made fun of with her name!

    I vote for Annalise!

Please don’t use Rebekah. That is the name we wanted for Maddy, but Adam settled with Madeline after I promised we’d name our next girl Rebekah. :)

I was weird, I chose Abigail only because I love the nickname Abby! Miriam has a special meaning in our family. For one, Jonathan was almost named Miriam. You can ask my mom about the other reason. (Did you know that if Adam was a girl he would have been named Hillary?)
