Well I have had a very interesting weekend. On Saturday my husband and I were planning to go to Winco a grocery store about 40 minutes away because it’s the cheapest place around and to this fabric store that I heard about that is supposed to be really inexpensive and has good fabric for making cloth diapers.

When we went out to the car neither of us brought the keys and we ended up locking our selves out of our mobile home. Our cell phone was also inside. So we walked up to the BYU-I campus and kept trying to call our landlord but he never picked his phone up. Finally I went online to look for Locksmiths in Rexburg. I got a directory that listed 10 locksmiths so I called them all up to ask about their prices. Only 2 of the 10 companies were actually locksmith companies. One charged $35 the other $30. We went with the $30 one, of course.

We had a conference for our stake (a group of church congregations) at one of the buildings at the school and we ended up having to go casually dressed, eventhough it was a sunday church attier meeting but I felt is was more important to go and hear the messages than to be wearing a skirt.

You can bet that we will be more careful about taking our keys with us from now on. :)

Horaayy..there are 3 comment(s) for me so far ;)

We must be living the same life. The same thing happened to me yesterday evening. I accidentally took the apartment key off of the keyring yesterday afternoon because I was getting sick of having too many keys on my keyring. This was at work. When I got home last night, I realized I threw away the apartment key by accident. We drove over to the apartment manager and she let us in and we have a new key.

I hope you can keep your keys with you at all times. Remember when you lost them while at our place? hahahaha.

We actually locked ourselves out 3 times at our old apartment. The good thing about apartments is that the manager has a copy of your keys.

That is funny that the same thing happened to us!

hahahahahaha ….. Yeah, I’m not surprised that this happened to you either. Remember when you left your keys in Dad’s truck …. in BC and you guys were in Idaho .. hahahahaha …. well I guess we were actually in Seattle when you left them behind.

Maybe you guys should make extra copies of your keys and keep them in different places. I got locked out of the house once and since then I have always kept a key inside my wallet.
