After asking new moms at church about which doctor they went to for their pregnancy and how they liked them I found someone who went to these midwives. In our small Idaho town there are two midwives who work with one of the doctors here at a clinic. I called the clinic and they said that I can just see the midwives if I want and have one of them deliver the baby but I need to see the doctor at least once because if I need a C-section or something else goes wrong the doctor will need to do the delivery.
I wished I knew about the midwives during my first pregnancy. I think midwives would be more understanding and let you do things the way you want more that doctors will.Â
I have my first appointment with them next week.

Please do not use Keywords for your name. That’s good to hear! I had a midwife with my 1st and I loved her. I also had a doctor with my 2nd and I absolutely loved him. He did things the way I wanted and didn’t pressure me at all.
I’m sad knowing that one day we’ll move and I won’t be able to find a doctor like him.
Keep us updated on the appointment. I hope it goes well.

I think I am but when I tell JJ about how my stomach is getting bigger he just smiles and says “oh cute, you’re getting excited now”. It’s not really noticeable though.
I have been feeling the baby move for the last 3 days!

Just a heads up . . . if you would happen to become high risk, a doctor will need to take over your care. Been there, done that
