2007 Goals

My sister-in-law has posted her “Mommy Goals” on her blog so I thought that would be a good idea for me to do!
Top 10 goals for 2007:
- Read the New Testament.
- Do a family service project each month.
- Read to Sariah and new baby for at least 15 minutes each day.
- Have dishes finished before going to bed.
- Not worry about money.
- Get a page rank for my new blogs: http://www.melissaclee.com/, http://www.la.melissaclee.com/, and http://www.theonlinerecipebox.com/
- Finish crocheting the blanket for the baby before he/she is born.
- Write in my jornal at least once a week.
- Invite people over for dinner or games night at least once a month.
- Make extra dinner more often so my husband can take the leftovers to school for lunch.

I also try to wash the dishes before going to bed. It does make a difference. We also have been doing nightly scripture reading. We are reading the New Testament. I put Aziz in charge of reading the Bible to his kids. It has been great and I hope it becomes a habit.

We read the Book of Mormon as a family each night and have started doing it before Sariah goes to bed so she can be a part of it. I think it will also help prepare her to know that it’s time for bed.
I am reading the New Testament on my own.

Great goals, Melissa. It’s a great idea to have Sariah with you for scripture reading. It will get her used to it. It’s worked great for us with Debbie.

I always try to make leftovers and someone always ends up eating them before they make it into anyone’s lunch box!

That is funny! I always tell my husband about his lunch while we’re in bed or else he would eat it. I let him eat dinner and then his 3 sandwiches or whatever else it takes to fill him up. I wonder why he’s so skinny?
