If you know how to crochet or knit and would like to do some service then you can make hats for newborns and help save their lives. “Four million newborns die each year within the first month of life half within the first 24 hours of life.” This number could be lowered with keeping babies heads warm. This would be a fun thing to do with a group of people!

I currently crochet hats for cancer patients and have been giving them to friends for their new babies. It is really fast to do and lots of fun!

On a side note, I am on IE6 and this page is a little wonky… the calendar is layered under the entry and the comment box is very wide.

The index page is great though.

Thanks for the heads up! It seems that the Theme was causing problems, hopefully this new theme will be better.

Keep up the good work, that is a wonderful thing you are doing!
