I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas. Ours was wonderful! It was our baby’s first Christmas and it was also the first Christmas we spent with my husband’s family. I really enjoyed seeing the different traditions in my family and his family and we hope to take some from each.
From my family I like reading the nativity story each Christmas eve and opening one gift on Christmas eve. And from my husband’s family I like how the children leave their stockings where Santa will leave their gifts and those gifts are unopened so the children can play with those before opening up all their gifts, which lets the parents sleep a little longer!
We also started our own tradition where we write a letter from Santa to each child and put it in their stocking. I will have to put Sariah’s in her baby book.
