I went to my WIC Appointment today to get recertified as being as pregnant  and I was surprised to find that I haven’t gained any weight. I’m still at my pre-pregnancy weight before the first pregnancy. They said that they would like to see me gain at least 4 lbs by next month.
I was surprised that I haven’t gained any weight because I have had a pretty big appetite with this pregnancy. Unlike with Sariah where I felt too sick to eat a lot of times, yet I gained about 4 lbs in the first 3 months.

hmm… Maybe it’s because your still nursing, that your not gaining weight?? I don’t know. I’m not sure how the WIC thing works … if you havn’t been to the doctors yet do they give you a pregnancy test to “prove” your pregnant? or just take your word for it?

They just took my word for it but said that I need a dr’s note by January 8th. There are some places that
do free pregnancy tests. I’ll just do that.
Yeah, you’re probably right I’m sure that it’s because I’m nursing that I’m not gaining any weight.

I thought it was normal to lose a little weight in your first trimester. I usually do, especially since you are nursing. Eat some high fat foods. I always like Wendy’s french fries with sour cream. Yum!!!

Being Christmas time, it shouldn’t be too hard to gain weight. I have to be careful but People just keep giving me cookies … hahaha.

It is completely normal to lose weight during your 1st tri. I lost 19lbs because I was so ill,I couldn’t keep anything down.
I agree with SJ, maybe it’s because you’re still nursing.
I miss you guys!!!
